I'm a multidisciplinary graphic designer who works on all substrates, surfaces, and screens. I also do web development, illustration, and whatever else I can to get the job done. My approach tends to be simple and functional, yet I'm a sucker for hand lettering and illustrations.

Below is a collection of some of my views on how I approach design — or perhaps something greater. However cliché some may be, I think its a good way to sum up what to expect from me as a designer / human being.
Every good idea deserves to be properly executed. I take pride in honing my technical abilities and executing designs the right way.
Care about what you do. If it's not worth doing right, it's not worth doing at all.
Everything should have one. When it comes to design, this is important. In life, probably even more so.
Normal is boring, make something better. I shoot to deliver above expectations.
Seek opportunities to learn and grow. Continued education is important and something I enjoy.
A simple challenge to myself — Make every project better than the last, in at least one way.
A more generic concept, but I think finding balance is important in most aspects of life.
None of this matters much if you’re a boring jerk.
Worked varies clients and partnered with local agencies on graphic design and web developemt projects.
On all digital projects I took on the lead design role and was more active with creative direction, project management and client communication responsibilities. Projects were typically websites and interactive displays.
Worked with a great team of graphic designers, interior designers, and architects on projects big and small. Being a part of such a diverse firm allowed me to to work on a large range of projects — including websites, print materials, brand experiences, interior graphics, and environmental signage.
While going to university I worked part-time at the school run graphic design office. I worked mainly with campus clubs and organizations to produce promotional materials in various formats — including posters, handbills, digital signage, t-shirts, logos, and banners.
The graphic design program at WWU not only taught me the traditional design process, but provided me with a technical foundation for producing designs for the real world. My senior year focus was in print production.
This ambiguously titled position primarly includes UX design for our internal and external web marketing and applications along with front-end development.
